COURSE DESCRIPTION

Caution is advised, especially towards the summit of Welirang, and while at the top, as strong winds are anticipated. Participants are urged to safeguard against sulfur inhalation by covering their noses with a wet buff.

Descending from the summit, the trail leads to Sadelan and further descends into the picturesque Lembah Kidang. Participants may be fortunate enough to encounter deer amid the fertile savanna in this region. Subsequently, the route retraces its path back to Pondok Welirang, followed by a descent along the initial route to the Putuk Lesung water station. A final stretch of 12 km will lead participants to the finish line.

Exercise caution, embrace the challenge, and enjoy the unique natural beauty that characterizes the 38K Welirang route during this exceptional Mantra trail event.

*Maps subject to change, and may change for reasons outside of the Race Organisers control. Select the Time Charts tabs to view the cut-off times for leaving the relevant Aid Stations. Time Charts show estimated fastest and slowest times for each race leg and should be used as a guide only. Where the slowest times are greater than the cut-off time, the cut-off time will supersede the slowest expected estimates. If you miss the cut-off then you must follow the directions of officials. Please note that in bad weather conditions, cut-offs may need to be brought forward during the event.

KEY INFO FOR 38K RUNNERS

All the information you need to know before start.

Pre-qualification for the race is designed to assess your physical, mental, and minimum experiential capabilities to ensure your adequacy for participation in the chosen category.

The race course features designated aid stations, each providing varying levels of service and supplies. These stations afford participants the opportunity to replenish, rehydrate, and prepare for the subsequent stage of their journey.

Each runner is required to carry mandatory gear. The mandatory gear list comprises items that we consider essential to ensure your safety throughout the event.

A Finish Line baggage deposit service will be available which allows you to have your own personal supplies (change of clothes, shoes, shorts, post race nutrition, etc.) at the finish line.
